MEDIEVAL COSTA BRAVA

Come and visit the most charming towns of the Costa Brava: Peratallada, Pals, Begur and Calella. Cobblestone streets, castles, ancient walls, pirates, "indians" colonial buildings, pirates and "havaneres". Discover the essence of the Empordà!

What are we doing?

In the morning we will go from Girona to Peratallada, a small, beautiful and well-preserved medieval town with 500 inhabitants. We'll have time to walk around before going to Pals, where we will go on a guided tour. Next, we will head towards the charming village of Begur, where we can visit its medieval castle or follow the indianos walking route, to see and visit some of the buildings made by those who went to America to make fortune. We will have free time for lunch in Begur, before heading to the Sant Sebastià Lighthouse, a beautiful natural viewpoint where we'll enjoy panoramic views of the Costa Brava and the towns of Calella de Palafrugell and Llafranc. We will then descend to Calella, a beautiful and famous fishing village. Here, you can take a walk along the Camí de Ronda, the old path used by locals and the police to fight smuggling, towards the neighboring town of Llafranc, or towards Cala del Golfet, an oh-so-Mediterranean beach.
