What are we doing?
We will depart from Girona towards the spectacular village of Castellfollit de la Roca, a set of houses that hang from a column of basaltic rock. We will visit its small historic quarter and climb the bell tower to enjoy spectacular views of the region. We'll then have breakfast with views of the cliff and we will continue to the beautiful medieval village of Besalú, where we will do a guided visit with a local guide. You will discover the history of this town and the importance and influence it had during the Middle Ages. When finished, we will have free time to walk around the village and have lunch. Leaving Besalú and we'll go visit the Pont del Llierca, a medieval brisge built on the River Fluvià, with great architectural beauty. When finished, we will head towards Banyoles, where we will have a walk along the edge of the beautiful Lake while explaining some curiosities and anecdotes about the place and enjoy the marvelous green and blue scenery.
