What are we doing?

We will visit Girona in the morning with one of our local guides. We'll discover this wonderful city with more than 2,000 years of history. We will enter into the historical center and walk through its medieval streets, the Jewish quarter and the imposing Cathedral of Santa María. After the visit, we will go to Besalú, one of the most beautiful and best preserved medieval villages in Spain. Through its famous Romanesque bridge of the s. XII we will learn the importance of this territory during medieval times, and we will especially visit its Jewish quarter, famous for hosting one of the most important medical schools of the Iberian peninsula. Once we reach the main square of Saint Peter, we will have free time to taste local products, some shopping or just chill, before returning to Girona.
