Come on this private small group route and discover Girona with us! A guide for you and your party on a visit where you will discover the origins and history of this beautiful city, walking through its streets and enjoying our Mediterranean way of life.


What are we doing?

After an introduction about the city in Plaça Catalunya, we will enter the Old Quarter and talk about history, legends and the way of life from the past and from now. We will continue walking towards the North, going through the Jewish Quarter until the Cathedral. There, we will leave the Wall of the Old Force, pass around the Sant Feliu Basilica and cross the Onyar north of the Old Quarter. We will walk through the Mercadal neighborhood and cross the river again to enter the Rambla and end up close to the meeting point.

Throughout the tour we will be seeing a map and different pictures of how Girona looked in the past, which will help us understand the city better and imagine how life in the past used to be!

What will we see?

Plaça Catalunya – Call jueu – Catedral – Carrer de la Força – Pujada de Sant Domènec – Basílica de Sant Feliu – Plaça de la Independència and Mercadal neighbourhood –  Eiffel, Stone and Sant Agustí bridges – Rambla – Plaça del Vi and Town Hall.
